System Integration Manager

As System Integration Manager in Digitec you will be the project technical leader responsible for analysing system requirements and understanding their application impact.

The successful candidate has an extensive knowledge of Digitec SW platform and is able to use it as well as to explain it to our customers.

Acting as the key hub in the integration of complex systems, the System Integration Manager is able to translate customers needs into accurate requests, to detect possible issues and to act as a point of contact between the company and customers.

Duties & responsabilities:

  • Define minimum system requirements (technical T0) (initial documentation for HW/SW interfacing)
  • Set appropriate customers expectations by guiding their choices/priorities
  • Keep development activities aligned with project requirements by avoiding uncontrolled/unshared technical changes both internally and externally
  • Communicate any project changes to the the development team (Change Request Clear Definition)
  • Supervise the integration plan by assigning the right importance to each activity
  • Plan beta releases
  • Monitor SW user acceptance tests
  • Ensure successful SW integration and that the system works as per the specification agreed with the customer
  • Coordinate project activities with main R&D stakeholders (Team Leaders / Test Manager / SW Head / R&D Director)

Requirements:

  • Medical/Electronics engineering degree or equivalent education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer and project management skills
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Deep understanding of every aspect of the software life cycle, including proven skills and experience in Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proven previous exeperience in leading SW developers teams
  • Willing to travel both around Itlay and abroad
  • Good command of English language both written and spoken

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :

  • Experience in SW development within medical industry
  • Knowledge of programming languages C#; C++
  • Knowledge of electrical communication
  • Familiarity with x-ray systems
