As of June, Digitec decided to foster the communication between the management members and colleagues through a monthly Coffee Chat so as to give everyone the chance to participate on rotation.
Coffee Chat is our recurring town hall meeting where each colleague can discuss directly with the management team while drinking coffee and having a croissant, bringing up their thoughts, opinions, suggestions for the company, as well as asking questions with no filters: this event was born to cut distance and share ideas, including corporate vision, so as to have better human relations.
Several cues for improvement came in, and we bet many more will come.
Coffee chat was first born to meet some of our colleagues’ needs, but we can definitely say that it is now an added value for the whole company, reminding us of the importance of a huge tool…dialogue!
