On April 3, the appointment with the Milano Marathon is renewed and also this year Digitec runs.
Because we share many values with this sporting and solidarity initiative: The marathon is first and foremost a sport that rewards training, constancy and celebrates merit. In addition, the relay mode promotes team working. Last but not least, since it is a solidarity initiative, it resonates in us integrity and ethical sense.
So here we are, again. The same enthusiasm as last year for a new cause: we run alongside the volunteers with red noses to sponsor their crazy journey of over 17000 km that will start right from our city, Lecco, to give smiles to the needy children they will meet during the journey of the Mongol Rally in countries where being children is not so easy: through techniques derived from theatrical improvisation, the art of the clown, magic games and theater will try to alleviate their anxiety and suffering. The volunteers will take 5 weeks of their time, their ability to adapt to an uneasy path and their skills as Clown Doctors.
Each km run by us at the Milan Marathon will be worth 400km of smiles given away until Mongolia.
