CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF... LIFE!

From our beginnings in 1985 as specialists in image digitisation systems, Digitec has grown and evolved, pioneering advancements in digital radiology and medical imaging: join us in celebrating four decades of life and people, productsand innovation.

Let's review together the most important steps of our history, from the creation of high-definition digital radiology system with a fully electronic acquisition process, PC-based software with dedicated hardware cards, and systems with dynamic large-format detectors, to the purchase of our first of five X-ray booths, which enabled us to check our products daily and test them directly in house.

Over the years, the creation of new multidisciplinary teams of electronic engineers, computer scientists, physicists and mathematicians led us to buy a second site in Lecco and then renovate both of our facilities in 2022 and 2023 adapting the environments to new working needs, and reserving a specific area for our fifth and largest X-ray booth, dedicated to tests on C-arms.

But that’s not all: in 2017, we were officially recognized as a company of excellence by Industria Felix, receiving our first High Budget Honor as a reward for our efforts. This was the first of four regional awards, followed by the fifth at the national level.

Last but not least, after having launched TIRESYA in 2020 – the intelligence that encompasses our know-how and innovative approach to radiology, serving as the basis for all our software solutions –we presented V-Suite in 2024, our division specialised in the development of stand-alone libraries designed for integration in various acquisition software programs.

To mark all these past experiences and celebrate Digitec’s 40th Anniversary, we have introduced a new special version of our logo, which represents the intertwined paths the company has navigated over the past 40-years, symbolizing our growth and evolution, collaborations and connections, the diverse projects and initiatives that have shaped our identity.

Throughout 2025, this new logo will be our identifying symbol, reminding us of the rich history of Digitec and inspiring us for the future! Cheers to us for the journey still ahead!
