Digitec recognised once again within the WHP network!

For the fourth consecutive year, we have been recognised within the Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) network for our concrete commitment to promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace!
What is the WHP program
The Workplace Health Promotion program is based on the World Health Organization (WHO) model and aims to create working environments that:
- encourage the adoption of healthy lifestyles,
- contribute to the prevention of chronic diseases,
- promote wellbeing through a participatory approach that actively involves both companies and employees.
On Thursday, April 16th, at the PwC Hub in Monza, we took part in the award ceremony together with other companies from the ATS Brianza area. The event was provided an important opportunity to recognise and share good practices to reinforce a common goal: fostering a corporate culture increasingly focused on people’s health and quality of life.
Over the past four years, Digitec has implemented a wide range of initiatives to support workplace health and wellbeing. From Fruity Tuesdays, promoting healthy eating through weekly distribution of fresh fruit during the summer, to the installation of a bike rack to encourage active and sustainable mobility.
Additional initiatives include webinars organised in collaboration with LILT on prevention and smoking awareness, as well as targeted workshops focused on addiction and problem gambling prevention.
These efforts are complemented by a variety of free initiatives organised directly at Digitec, designed to support wellbeing and work–life balance: from mole‑mapping screenings and cardiology check-ups in collaboration with LILT, to vaccination campaigns, tax declaration assistance services, AED training, and the upcoming colorectal cancer screening.
Together, these initiatives reflect our approach to WHP: a shared and ongoing commitment that grows through collective participation and continues to evolve over time.
It is therefore no coincidence that the WHP Network continues to expand at a regional level:
- 1,425 participating companies across Lombardy
- 129 companies within the ATS Brianza area, including Digitec
Being part of this network is a source of great pride for us and confirms that we are moving in the right direction – a shared commitment fully embodied in thecertificate awarded to all companies within the WHP Network!
