Junior IT Specialist

Digitec designs and customizes software and hardware systems capable of acquiring, processing and transferring medical images. We have over 35 years of experience in the medical devices sector and thanks to our solid roots, our propensity for innovation and the investment in research and development of 25% of our turnover we are highly competitive on the international scene.

To expand our IT team, we are looking for a Junior IT Specialist.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure company IT system is functioning and up to date
  • Manage data backup and recovery
  • Supervise system performance (server/networking/cybersecurity tool log analytics) and pinpoint problems and possible improvements
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager and other departments to ensure the IT system is fully functioning
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve system efficiency
  • Train and support users on system use
  • Manage and supervise a structured and efficient internal IT ticket management system, including technical support activity, information requests and problem reports
  • Manage departments documentation and procedures
  • Manage company intranet on a technical level
  • Manage customers’ and suppliers’ internet portals
  • Keep abreast of industry new technologies so as to keep company IT system always up to date

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of operating systems Windows Server (AD/Azure)/Windows client/Linux Server
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin center
  • Knowledge of virtualization systmes such as Vmware, Proxmox, Hyper-v, Sangfor
